Running along California coastline for nearly 60 miles in and around San Francisco, Golden Gate National Recreation Area is one of the world’s largest and most visited urban parks. Land’s End, located on San Francisco’s wildest and rockiest coast, is an urban oasis and a favorite destination for jogging, dog walking, picnicking and hang-gliding!
Canon and American Park Network invite the San Francisco community to repair some of the damage that we’ve done over the years. Our project will remove invasive species and replace them with native plants that will return Land’s End to its natural state.
DIRECTIONS TO LAND’S END
From the East Bay | From the South Bay | From the North Bay
Public Transportation: Take the MUNI Bus Line #38 to the Geary/48th Ave stop. Cross the street at Point Lobos Ave. towards the ocean. Walk downhill until you are just above the Sutro Baths and turn right into the Merrie Way parking lot.
